Peace Retreat Wellness Center & Spa

1. Overview

Peace Retreat is a wellness retreat center in Playa Negra, Costa Rica offering accommodations, meals, yoga spaces, and retreat support. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

Check-out: 11:00 AM
(Early/late requests subject to availability)

2. Payments & Cancellations

We are committed to providing a high-quality, intimate experience. Due to limited capacity, all bookings are final.

All Bookings (Group & Individual)

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • No credits are offered for any payments made.

  • No refunds. Date changes may be considered at management’s discretion.

Failure to make payments on time may result in cancellation of your reservation with no refund.

​

Activities & Services

  • Activities (spa, ceremonies, shuttles, excursions) must be paid as scheduled.

  • Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.

  • Activities are subject to availability and may be rescheduled due to weather or operational needs.

Force Majeure

Peace Retreat is not responsible for cancellations due to events outside our control (weather, travel disruption, government actions, etc.).

​

Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

3. Group Retreats (Hosts & Participants)

We are committed to providing a high-quality, intimate experience. Due to limited capacity, all bookings are final.

Host Responsibilities

  • Signed agreement required for all group retreats

  • Hosts manage participant communication and preparation

  • Final rooming list due 30 days prior

  • Shuttle info & dietary needs due 30 days prior.

Unassigned rooms may be released 30 days prior.

​

Property Use

  • Groups under 14 may share the property

  • Shared spaces include yoga areas, pool, spa, and common areas

  • Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM

​

Financial Responsibility

  • The retreat host is responsible for all group-related costs and damages

  • All damages will be billed accordingly​​

4. Individual Bookings

  • Bookings must be paid in advance

  • All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Activities must be booked in advance and are subject to availability

5. Property Guidelines

  • Respect shared spaces and other guests

  • No food in rooms

  • Do not flush paper or foreign items

  • Staff must be treated respectfully at all times

  • Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM

Any damages or misconduct may result in charges or removal from the property.

6. Health & Safety

  • All guests must have valid health insurance

  • Peace Retreat is not liable for injuries, illness, or emergencies

  • In emergencies, local medical services will be contacted

​

Participation in activities is voluntary.

7. Liability

Peace Retreat is not responsible for:

  • Lost or stolen items

  • Travel disruptions

  • Personal injuries or health outcomes

​

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and decisions.

8. Final Agreement

By booking and/or staying at Peace Retreat, you agree to these terms.
